"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" (Gen 1:1). The Triune God created the cosmos for mankind out of an overflow of the love He had in His divine community of three Persons. Only Christianity has a God who is One-in-Three and is capable of relational qualities such as love, joy, and peace. He created man and woman to image His nature and make visible His kingdom. Everything He created was good.

"For the wages of sin is death" (Rom 6:23). The first man rejected the glory and goodness of God, trading it for nothing more than a piece of forbidden fruit. This rebellion has ruined every person, family, society, and nation. God despises everything that falls short of his glory and goodness and has promised the punishment of hell to sinners.

"For the wages of sin is death" (Rom 6:23). The first man rejected the glory and goodness of God, trading it for nothing more than a piece of forbidden fruit. Every person born after Adam was infected with the same disease of a rebellious heart to the Creator. This rebellion has ruined every person, family, society, and nation. God despises everything that falls short of His glory and goodness and has promised the punishment of hell to sinners. Every person is polluted and feels shame. Every person has broken God's law and feels guilt. Every person has turned from God to lesser things and feels alienation from God.

"In him was life and the life was the light of men" (Jn 1:4). In great love for mankind God the Father sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem us. Both fully God and fully man, His death on the cross was sufficient to pay for the sins of mankind and satisfy the honour of God.

"In him was life and the life was the light of men" (Jn 1:4). In great love for mankind God the Father sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem us. Jesus perfectly kept the law of God, always pleasing His Father in the power of the Holy Spirit. Both fully God and fully man, His death on the cross was sufficient to pay for the sins of mankind and satisfy the honour of God. Christ's resurrection on the third day demonstrated His divine power and that His payment was accepted for the sins of His people. He now sits at the Father's right hand, installed as King of kings and Lord of lords.

“For with the heart one believes and is justified” (Ro 10:10). Jesus Christ’s perfect record before God is counted to belong to all those who put their faith in Him. All guilt is wiped away by the Judge Himself and they have the right to come before God, clothed in Christ’s perfection. We no longer have to defend ourselves to man or God and are assured of right standing before God on the day of judgment.

"I create new heavens, and a new earth... be glad and rejoice forever" (Isa 65:17-18). Jesus Christ will return to judge mankind for every thing they have done. "I create new heavens, and a new earth... be glad and rejoice forever" (Isa 65:17-18). Jesus Christ will return to judge mankind for every thing they have done, whether good or evil. At the resurrection, the wicked will be cast away from God into hell, but the righteous will enjoy the glory and goodness of God's new heavens and earth forever under their righteous King, the Lord Jesus Christ. God will then pour out all the riches of His kindness on His people and they will glorify their God eternally.
