1 Thessalonians 2:13
13 And we also thank God constantly for this, that when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work in you believers.
1 Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.
10 “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, 11 so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.”
What would you say if someone asked you: How can you believe that God created this world when everyone knows that it came about by evolution over millions of years? Is it important to believe that there really was an Adam and Eve? Should Christians believe that the entire population of the world died in the Flood except for Noah and his family? Is Genesis history or myth or a combination of history and myth? These types of questions are very common today.
You’re invited to join Dr. Marty Culy in working through the book of Genesis. This course will help you:
- answer questions like those above,
- wrestle with how the book of Genesis should impact our daily lives as followers of Jesus, and
- grow in the knowledge of God.
This is also a great opportunity for fellowship with other followers of Jesus.
