Ephesians 2:10
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 4:15–16
15 Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, 16 from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.

2 Timothy 3:16–17
16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

More than an adult Sunday School, The Workshop is a systematic discipleship program for teens and adults which takes place Sunday morning prior to the service. Our focus is to be build disciples that are

  1. grounded in the basic principles of the gospel for (i) spiritual health and for (ii) service
  2. equipped to (i) minister broadly and to meet spiritual needs around them and (ii) to develop and use their particular giftedness for the good of Christ’s church.

We run three 10 to 12-week semesters per year in the fall, winter, and spring, and a missions project during the summers. Our program begins with an Early Discipleship class comprised of Spiritual Disciplines, Theology of God and the Atonement, Family Code, and Living for Eternity. We offer a certificate for our Early Discipleship class, and 2 and 3-year certificates.
