Fall session of Awana begins on Friday, September 20, 2019.

The Awana program is filled with tons of group fun as well as intentional handbook work based on learning the message of Jesus and memorizing God’s Word. Our program offers Sparks, T&T, and Trek groups for grades K-8. We play games, sing songs, hear from God’s Word, and work in our handbooks in small groups. Awards keep clubbers motivated and we have a great group of dedicated leaders for our classes. All are welcome and we encourage our students to invite their friends! We meet every other Friday from 6:30-8:00pm in our Lower Auditorium.

Awana’s mission is long-term discipleship of children and youth. Each week, more than 2 million children and youth, 330,000 volunteers, and 260 field staff take part in Awana in 30,000 churches around the world. Awana is an acronym for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed”, from the King James Version translation of 2 Timothy 2:15, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
