New West Community Church is an intercultural church in the Sapperton area of New Westminster, BC, dedicated to exalting the name and word of our God, the Lord Jesus Christ, in our community and world.

Our ministry model is to Speak the Word of the gospel in four spheres of life: in the Home, in the Church, in Small Groups, and in the World. We are called to be a prophetic people who make disciples by proclamation, baptism, and teaching. In this way we bring Christ’s kingdom to the earth and glorify God.

A strong emphasis on the loveliness and power of God’s word impacts everything we do, from the preaching of God’s word from the pulpit, to the memorization that takes place in our homes and children’s programs. Although anyone and everyone is welcome to attend our services, our main purpose when we gather is to teach and exhort one another so that we can go out and live as faithful witnesses in the world, sharing the same message that Jesus did when He walked the earth. In Acts 1:8 Jesus says “you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
